"I have recently completed a self build/design house on a high walled garden site in East Boldon. As the plans were developed, the split level design on 4 floors required a number of spaces to interact and become open plan. It was, therefore, only possible to retain the design of the house, if the Fire Safety considerations were successfully addressed.
I took the decision to install a complete Domestic Sprinkler System within the dwelling. After first making enquiries to a few National Companies, I was directed to JP Fire Protection Systems Ltd.
John was most helpful, from his initial site visit and discussion he was able to advise me of all likely costs and processes that may occur relating to the technical aspects of the installation.
The company produced detailed scaled drawings of the required sprinkler layout, together with a fixed price to have the works done. This was then booked into the build schedule.
The anticipated 3 day installation to install 1st fix works only took one and a half days, if only the rest of the project had gone as well!!
We are now enjoying the completed scheme with the peace of mind that all areas of our new premises have complete sprinkler protection, from the front path to the cellar below the kitchen.
I can honestly say that without the advice I received from John I may have had to change the house design to comply with building & fire regulations and feel that this would have compromised the house by having to enclose staircases etc.
The standard of workmanship from the 1st fix stage to the completion, commissioning and handover of the working system has been exemplary.
I would therefore have no hesitation in recommending JP Fire Protection Systems Ltd to any individual or business requiring a sprinkler system".
